Terms & conditions

Prices

All prices mentioned exclude VAT (3% for calendar courses & 17% for on demand courses).
Devoteam reserves the right to change pricing, registration terms and conditions, to make changes to any of training courses described on our catalogue or cancel a course at any time without notice or liability.

Tax reductions

Devoteam is recognized by the Luxembourgish State as an ‘Organisme de formation professionnelle continue’, and as such, its education customers can obtain tax reductions (credits d’impôts) under certain conditions. Authorization # 93506A.

Invoicing and payment

With your course confirmation you will receive the invoice which is payable upon receipt, before the start of the course.

Cancellation or postponement (Calendar session)

You may cancel or postpone your registration free of charge with a written notice given more than 10 working days before the course starts.
If your cancellation or postponement notice arrives 9 or less working days before the course starts, Devoteam reserves its right to invoice 50% of the course price.
If your cancellation or postponement notice arrives 5 or less working days before the course starts or the participant does not come for the course, Devoteam reserves its right to invoice 100% of the course price.
Cancellation/postponement must be received in writing and be acknowledged by Devoteam.
Replacement of a participant with another is free of charge (not for courses with certifications).

If the cancellation or postponement of a private session/on-demand session arrives 15 or less working days prior to the schedule start of the course, Devoteam reserves its right to invoice 100% of the course price.

Course postponed or cancelled

Devoteam reserves its right to postpone or cancel a course when necessary, for instance when not enough participants are registered or due to force majeure events. We will endeavor to notify participants at least 5 working days in advance (except in cases of force majeure). In case of postponement, all participants will automatically be registered for the next session of the same course.

Privacy Notice

What personal data do we collect?

When you submit an enquiry to us or you subscribe to our newsletter, we ask you for your name, your email address, telephone company name and a brief description of your enquiry.

Why do we collect this information?

We will use your information to respond to your enquiry and hopefully to provide you with the information you need. We do this in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract i.e. as part of pre-sales activity.
When you subsribe to our newsletter, we will use your information to send you our newsletter, which contains information about our training and often includes special offers.
We ask for your consent to do this, and we will only send you our newsletter for as long as you continue to consent.

What do we do with your information?

Your information is stored in our Database system which is hosted by Microsoft. We have a contractual agreement with Microsoft that commits them to providing an appropriate level of safeguards for your personal data. It is not sent outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).
We will read your message and normally respond to you either via telephone or via email. We may ask for your consent to retain your information in our CRM system in order to send you further informtion that we think may be of interest to you.
We will not use the information to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

How long do we keep your information for?

Your information is kept for as long as you continue to consent to receive our newsletter.

Your rights over your information

By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
You can also ask for it to be erased and you can ask for us to give you a copy of the information.
You can also ask us to stop using your information – the simplest way to do this is to withdraw your consent, which you can do at any time, either by clicking the unsubscribe link at the end of any newsletter, or by emailing, writing or telephoning us using the contact details above.
